About Us:

The Autodesk® Animation User Group Association (AAUGA) serves as a resource and forum for digital graphics artists. We are the Triangle AAUGA Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill chapter, bringing together area talent in a casual but professional environment. We talk 3D modeling, animation, visual effects, cool software features and more. We're the digital graphics artists behind the gaming, film, television, medical, architectural and technology industries, as well as many other types of businesses. Our bimonthly meetings feature high-end software demonstrations, giveaways, hints and tips, discussions about available jobs — plus food!

Our Purpose:

At Triangle AAUGA, it's our goal to pool and strengthen North Carolina's animation, visual effects and 3D graphics talent. We seek to provide networking opportunities, an upbeat social setting and a place to gain and share knowledge and experience. We also hope to be a talent source for North Carolina industries seeking top-quality digital graphics production services from experienced artists.

Bryan Scibelli is the Co-Founder of Cinemanix Productions, a VFX and Post-Production Company. Having always been intrigued by Visual Effects, departed the world of IT in 1997 and moved into 3D animation and VFX. Developing into a production diverse generalist in the areas of 3D, compositing, color grading, on-set DIT and media workflow specialist. Becoming proficient in most major VFX applications such as 3DS Max, Maya, Softimage, Mocha, etc., Bryan has added Nuke to the pipeline as the glue to help with finishing and delivery. Having served clients such as MTV, Nickelodeon, Walmart and Salesforce just to name a few, Bryan is actively looking to build a team of VFX artists to help serve the production world from somewhere other than the typical hubs of NY/LA. Bryan has been an active member of the Pixel Corps group since the beginning and works with Alex Lindsay’s Rebel Unit group out of San Francisco when called upon. Bryan grew up in western Pennsylvania north of Pittsburgh and now resides in Charlotte, NC.
